Linkin Park - A Thousand Suns Track Listing

A Thousand Suns is the fourth studio album by American rock band Linkin Park. It was first released on September 8, 2010. The album was written by the band and co-produced by Linkin Park vocalist Mike Shinoda and Rick Rubin, who previously worked together to produce Minutes to Midnight (2007). The lead single for the album, "The Catalyst", was sent to radio and released to digital music retailers on August 2, 2010. The band is currently promoting the album through the A Thousand Suns Tour.
A Thousand Suns is a concept album dealing with nuclear warfare and themes of war in general."On this record, the concepts blend human ideas with technology [...] Human fears, your fear of what's going to happen in the world, the music kind of references that", said Mike Shinoda on an interview with MTV. The album's title comes from the Hindu Sanskrit scripture, the Bhagavad Gita: "If the radiance of a thousand suns were to burst at once into the sky, that would be like the splendor of the mighty one," a quote made famous by J. Robert Oppenheimer in reference to the atomic bomb. This album consists of :

Linkin Park - Road to Revolution: Live at Milton KeynesTrack Listing

Road to Revolution: Live at Milton Keynes is the second live CD/DVD/BD compilation by Linkin Park. It was recorded during the band's annual Projekt Revolution festival tour at the Milton Keynes National Bowl on June 29, 2008, the same place Green Day recorded their live album Bullet in a Bible. It was originally planned to be released on November 25, 2008 but was changed to November 24. The concert featured material from all three of the band's albums, as well as songs from their EP, Collision Course with Jay-Z, and elements from "Reanimation" and Fort Minor's The Rising Tied.
This concert was supposed to be broadcasted on MTV but for legal reasons, the show ended up being commercially released on CD and DVD. The full show, like many other Linkin Park shows since 2007, was made available to download in MP3 format for those who purchased a code at the show. On October 6, 2008, the band's official website held a contest for anyone 18 years of age or older to submit a name for the CD/DVD. On October 8, five final choices were made into a poll allowing fans to vote for their favorite. The final choices were: "Linkin Park: Midnight In Milton Keynes", "Sunset Revolution: Linkin Park Live In The UK", "Road To Revolution: Linkin Park Live", "Revolution In The Iron City: Linkin Park Live", "Revolution in the UK: Linkin Park Live". On October 13, the website was modified to fit the winning title which was announced as "Road to Revolution", along with the tracklisting.
On October 23, 2008 the footage for "Leave Out All the Rest" premiered on Yahoo! Music. On October 28, 2008, an abbreviated version of the show was broadcast on WOWOW. "Lying from You", "Numb", "The Little Things Give You Away", "Pushing Me Away", Numb/Encore" and "Jigga What/Faint" were not broadcast. On November 6, the official DVD trailer was posted on Linkin Park's YouTube channel.This album consists of :

Linkin Park - Reanimation Track Listing

   Reanimation is the first remix album by American rock band Linkin Park as a follow-up to their first studio album, Hybrid Theory and released on July 30, 2002. Recorded during the Hybrid Theory tour in 2001, it features hip hop and electronica-influenced remixes of songs from Hybrid Theory. Reanimation helped the many underground hip-hop artists that it featured reach a larger audience, as well as changing the nature of the work so significantly (restructuring songs, adding or substantially changing verses, and adding several guest artists) that it could be considered an entirely new album. Reviewer Stephen Thomas Erlewine (of Allmusic) considered the album "a welcome step in the right direction," and he praised Reanimation for attempting to break new ground. Linkin Park have also stated that this album could be considered both a remix and studio album. Metacritic gave the album an average score of 60. However, the album reached a peak position of #2 on the Billboard 200 and stayed on the list for 33 straight weeks. It sold 270,000 copies in its debut week. This album consists of :

Linkin Park - Songs From the Underground Track Listing

  Songs from the Underground is a Linkin Park EP that consists of a collection of six popular Linkin Park Underground (LPU) tracks from the past 7 years and two exclusive tracks: "Hunger Strike - Chris Cornell featuring Chester Bennington (Live)" and "My December (Live)". This CD was released in limited quantities and is only available at Best Buy. The six previously released tracks are from the LPU 1.0, 2.0, 4.0, and 6.0 EPs respectively. The 3.0, 5.0, and 7.0 EPs all consist of live recordings which is why they are absent on this EP. The cover of this EP, however includes the artwork for all 7 LPU EPs released at the time.
Those who purchase the CD will also receive a free one-month trial to the Linkin Park Underground. To coincide with this release, all LPU members (including trial members) can download a free exclusive track, "Crawling (Live)", through the Linkin Park Underground website. It was recorded on the Projekt Revolution 2008 tour (specifically the 18/07/2008 show in Burgettstown, PA) and features the reanimated intro with Mike Shinoda rapping the first verse of "Hands Held High" over it and Chris Cornell comes out during the second verse of "Crawling" and sings.
The retail price is $9.99, but since the EP was released on Black Friday, it was on sale for $5.99. The same day, many Best Buy stores around the US also mistakenly released the Linkin Park Underground 8 package, which wasn't supposed to go on sale until December 4, 2008.

Linkin Park - Live In Texas Track Listing

Live in Texas is Linkin Park's first live album and third DVD, originally released on November 18, 2003.
The DVD comes with a bonus CD that features twelve of the songs from the DVD. The other five live tracks can be found on the Linkin Park Underground V3.0 CD. The audio on the CD is mixed differently from the audio on the DVD. The DVD/CD comes in two versions: a CD case and, although harder to find, a DVD case. Live in Texas awarded Gold in 2003 by RIAA, only 29 days after the release of album and Platinum in 2007.
The concert footage was shot on August 2 and August 3 during the Summer Sanitarium Tour 2003 at Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas and Texas Stadium in Irving, Texas.

Linkin Park - Minutes to Midnight Track Listing

  Minutes to Midnight is the third studio album by American rock band Linkin Park. Released on May 14, 2007, through Warner Bros. Records, the album debuted at number one in the United States and in 15 other countries, including the United Kingdom and Canada. The album was produced by Mike Shinoda and Rick Rubin. Minutes to Midnight features a shift in the group's musical direction. For the band, the album marks a beginning of deviation from their signature nu metal sound.
Linkin Park started work on their third studio album which begun in 2003. However, while touring to support Meteora in 2004 before the project was resumed later, they postponed work on it. Mike Shinoda formed Fort Minor, while Chester Bennington formed Dead by Sunrise. They returned to working on the record, as they have Rick Rubin produce it with Shinoda. They took on a different musical direction afterward. A few unrevealed-to-the-public mistakes occurred while recording the album, postponing it to several dates. Within mixing the album, some touches were added. After artwork and the rest of it was complete they decided to release "What I've Done" as its lead single by April 2007. It was finally released in North America on May 15, 2007.
In the United States, the album had the biggest first week sales of 2007 at the time, with 625,000 albums sold, going on to be certified double platinum in the United States, New Zealand, Italy, Ireland, and Australia and certified platinum in Canada, France, Switzerland and in the UK. Despite its commercial success, Minutes to Midnight received mixed reviews from critics. Rolling Stone magazine named it the twenty-fifth best album of 2007. It was ranked #154 on Billboard's Hot 200 Albums of the Decade. This album consists of :

Linkin Park - In The End

          "In the End" is a song by American rock band Linkin Park. The song was released as the fourth single from their debut album Hybrid Theory. The song's concept is mainly based on one person's failure. It is considered symbolic of an ending relationship, however, it can also represent broken trust in a once long-lasting friendship.
"In the End" is one of Linkin Park's most well known and successful songs, reaching the top ten in most of the charts that it appeared in, reaching as high as #2 on the Billboard Hot 100. It also reached number one on the Z100 Top 100 songs of 2002 countdown. This song also ranked at #121 in Blender magazine's The 500 Greatest Songs Since You Were Born. The song is Billboard's second most played rock song of the decade. It was also remixed on Reanimation as "Enth E End".
